Update about the various invoices and certificates that are needed for some of you.
Please make your eventual requests before 20 September.

Congress registration invoices:
Upon payment on the registration site (http://ifac2017.gipco-adns.com/) all delegates have received by email an invoice mentioning the paid fees.
Some delegates need a more detailed and formal invoice. These invoices are generated manually by the CNRS administration, which is the structure handling the Congress finances. To request such an invoice please send an email to payment@ifac2017.org. Do not expect an immediate response. Invoices are processed gradually and the team is doing its best to satisfy special requests. Two weeks is the estimated processing time.
Hotel booking invoices:
For those having booked their hotel using the IFAC2017 dedicated booking web service. It is not an IFAC2017 internal service. It is handled and organized by a partner. For any request such as invoice requests, please contact Maya POUJOL.
Attendance certificates:
All Congress Badges had on them an attendance certificate.
The registration team may nevertheless produce more formal attendance certificates if needed. To request such certificate please send an email to registration@ifac2017.org.
Presentation certificates:
All session Chairs have filled reports about presented papers. This allows if needed to produce manually certificates of presentation. To request such certificate please send an email to registration@ifac2017.org.
Volunteer certificates:
All young colleagues having served as volunteers for IFAC2017 will receive by the end of this summer a certificate for their involvement. Thank you again for your kind help.

The Welcome Desk of the World Congress operates at the Congress Center at the following hours

Saturday 8 July: 8:00-18:00
Sunday 9 July: 8:00-20:00
Monday 10 through Wednesday 12 July: 8:00-19:00
Thursday 13 July: 8:00-18:00
Friday 14 July: 8:00-16:00

Bring your voucher with you when you arrive for the first time, and have an ID (passport for example). ID is requested to get your Congress Badge. Accompanying persons should also come themselves to fetch their Congress Badge and present an ID.

Dear IFAC 2017 delegates,

Registration vouchers have been sent to all delegates. It seems that these contain some errors. Please be so kind to inform us at registration@ifac2017.org if it is the case for you. The team will compile your inputs and figure out the reasons of the mistakes in order to elaborate the appropriate solutions. Many thanks in advance for your kind cooperation.

Updates of registration items such as the Congress Ceremonies, the Workshops, the Technical Visits, names of delegates, done after 30 June will not be considered on the Congress badges. Any further modification shall need manual processing.

Reminder about rules from the registration page:

Registrations are transferable to delegates not yet registered only if the IFAC 2017 Congress Secretariat is duly informed in writing at least 3 weeks in advance of the start of the Congress to the registration staff. In case the registration covers final paper uploads, the transfer should be done among authors of these papers in order to ensure that the papers are indeed presented by one of the contributors. Registrations may not be shared, i.e. company name tags will not be issued and name tags may not be shared.

Technical Visits

New on 21 June 2017! Airbus (commercial aircraft) ground test facilities. Already sold out on 23 June.

Some Technical Visits are organized during the World Congress. These cover visits to the main Automatic Control Research Center in Toulouse, visits to science dedicated museums and their outreach activities, a visit to an Airbus industrial site. More technical visits were planned but are canceled because of security restrictions. Additional visits such as the A380 production site are organized by our partner for Tourism. The fees cover logistic costs such as transportation. Visits have a limited capacity. Some visits have security restrictions. Registrations are done using the IFAC2107 registration web service.

Early registration ended on 15 April. The number of registered attendees is over 3000. We are all looking forward to welcoming the participants this summer.

Some reminders:

The registration is still open for new attendees.
Registered attendees may reconnect to the registration site to add items such as:
- Registration to IFAC Workshops and Tutorials, and to sponsored Workshops and Tutorials
- Accompanying persons (do not forget to choose one of the two city-tours)
- Accommodation at University Campus (some rooms left but few)

Submission Site Closed and Early Registration to End

The submission of final papers to IFAC 2017 World Congress is now over. The PaperCept submission site for final manuscript upload has closed as announced. The deadline had been extended twice, a first time from 31 March to 7 April, and then to 10 April. The Program Chairs are now finalizing the detailed schedule of the 400 sessions and will not accept any late submission except if the authors can provide rapidly a very convincing reason for not having been able to meet the deadline.

The next important date is 15 April: deadline for early registration fees. Starting from 16 April at 0:00 in Toulouse, France, the registrations fees will be increased to the final values. See details on the registration page.

Registration operational and Submission site reopened

Taking into account the temporary breakdown of the registration system in the last night before submission deadline of 7 April, the Registration Team in coordination with the IPC Chairs have reopened PaperCept for final paper upload. It will remain open until Monday 10 April at night.

Our sincere apologies for those who were doing their registration and uploading papers at the last minute. We recommend them to register without delay.

Registration system temporarily out of order

Dear colleagues,

The registration system was out of order from 3:16 till 9:57 local time (Toulouse, France) on Saturday 8 April. We are aware that it went down some hours before the deadline for submitting the final versions of the papers (7 April 23:59 time of PaperCept). This has prevented some of you to register and upload papers at last minute. Some solution will be sought in the close future. Meanwhile those who did not register are invited to do so in order to get their upload codes and be ready for paper uploading.

The registration team is apologizes for this unexpected event, and looks forward to providing a solution rapidly.

Urgent Registration Problems

Dear colleagues,

7 April is the last day for paper upload, and as specified in all previous documents, one should register to the congress to get the upload codes.
At 15:37 local time (Toulouse, France) 2328 final papers have been uploaded. Some 450 are still missing.

Important information:

Not receiving your upload codes? If you are waiting a long time for the emails with upload codes, it might be because your mail box has problems. This occurs in particular with addresses of the type xyz@mail.ru. If you are in this case, please send us (registration@ifac2017.org) an alternative email address. The team is doing its best to contact people for which the emails have errors.
Where are the codes? The upload codes, sometimes also called "upload fee charge", are contained in the confirmation_invoice.pdf file received after payment. Have a look at the second page.
No further deadline extension. The IFAC World Congress organization is a complex task. The team has to move on other tasks once the papers have been uploaded.
This does not answer my questions. Have a look at the registration issues page the answers might be there.

The colleagues of the registration team are doing their best to answer all questions but may not be able to answer all of them, especially for questions arriving at the very last moment. After 19:00 local time (Toulouse, France) might be too late for questions and manual updates.
