The link to consult the 20th IFAC World Congress Program has been restored. We apologize that it was no more available during August.

The Congress Proceedings are being processed by Elsevier and are expected to be published in the IFAC-PapersOnLine Volume 50 hosted at the ScienceDirect web service before ~~the end of September~~ mid-october.

"My Program" functionalities of PaperCept

To use the tool "My Program" provided by PaperCept, for the 2017 IFAC World Congress, please click on the corresponding link after you log in into the ifac.papercept.net web site. Once you do this, you will be able to open the conference program on a separate window and conveniently select your favorite talks by clicking on the corresponding checkbox. Those talks will appear in your personalized program.

Please note that the personalized program will be formed on your computer and that you should click on "save to server" to transfer that program to the PaperCept server, for later use. If you restart working on your personalized program, you will be back to a clean slate, and you can either "retrieve from server", or simply add new material and eventually save to the server by selecting "merge with the current program".

Once you are done selecting your favorite talks, you may transfer them to your calendar (e.g., your google calendar) by clicking on "Export", which will generate an ".ics" file containing all the information on the talks that you selected.

The preliminary program of the IFAC 2017 World Congress is available at

Schedule problems: Corresponding authors will soon be contacted by the IPC Chairs who will provide a procedure to follow if some modifications need to be done. Please follow this procedure. Requests made outside of this procedure shall not be considered.

Interactive sessions: Papers scheduled in interactive sessions have the same status as any other paper. Presentation is oral with possibility to have slides, videos, software demonstrations etc. with the help of a TV screen. Interaction is increased in comparison with 20 minute presentations on stage thanks to direct discussions during 2 hours slots. See here for details.

Demonstrator sessions: These sessions will allow further increased interaction between attendees and presenters during 4 hour slots (and sometimes more). The contributions will be presented by means of demonstration of prototypes or other devices, and can be done using TV screens as well. See here for details.

Invited sessions and open invited sessions: These sessions have been proposed by organizers following a procedure detailed here. The number of accepted papers submitted to an open invited track not always being a multiple of 6, some of the papers originally submitted to an open invited track are scheduled in regular sessions.

Concerning visa formalities, as soon as a registration is validated, the participants receive an invitation letter. In case required, participants can at the personal data stage of the registration procedure enter additional information to be included on the invitation letter.

Invitation letters are created only using the registration system and require payment of the registration fees. Invitation letters are only for congress participants and may not be edited for accompanying persons. For further information concerning Visa procedures, the participants are invited to contact their local French consulate.

Final paper upload

Paper acceptance email have been sent on Monday 27 February 2017. Congratulations to the authors of the nearly 2800 accepted papers and extended abstracts.

The next actions for accepted papers is

To register to the World Congress.
Please read the Registration page instructions and the detailed Registration Procedure.
Bare in mind the "Declare papers for upload" step of the Procedure. At this step you should inform the system with the ID numbers of the papers you whish to upload.
Submit your final version of the paper in PaperCept. Deadline for final version paper upload is 31 March 2017.
Having registered you shall receive an email containing a Confirmation / Invoice. On the second page of this PDF file you shall find the PaperCept Submission code (long code containing letters and numbers) to be used for paper upload in PaperCept. There is one code per paper.

The IFAC 2017 World Congress has received 4256 contributions. The International Program Committee works hard to finalize the reviewing/selection process. Most of the work has been done. Associate Editors and Technical Associate Editors have finalized the evaluation of each contribution. Nevertheless, acceptance/rejection notifications may not be ready for the initial date of 20 February 2017. The notifications are postponed to 24 February.

Update on 24 February: decisions are almost ready but some last cross check should be done. New notification date: 27 February.
